Peter Copping’s inaugural collection for Oscar de la Renta arrived on the runway just five days ago, but it’s already made its red carpet debut courtesy of Sienna Miller at tonight’s Academy Awards. Miller took to the Oscars’ red carpet in look 42 from Copping’s collection, a navy lace embroidery dress with black velvet ribbon trim. Miller also channeled the runway’s simple, iconic makeup and elegant updos, updating the French twists Guido Palau created for the show with a cool center-parted option. It seemed like an auspicious start to Copping’s red carpet career at de la Renta.
