There’s a Reason Why Meghan Markle Loves This New App

With our finger on the pulse of current events nonstop, it’s hard to not get overwhelmed in the constant tornado of news. There is a lot of it, and, boy, it’s not always that pretty. While it’s super important to stay on top of things, sometimes you need a break. With this new app, you can get the latest updates around the world, but from things that are a little more uplifting. Oh, and Meghan Markle is totally into it.

Staying Positive

You would think with the constant influx of dread, nothing good is happening anymore. Think again. There is so much good in the world and this new app is all about showing it. But this isn’t exactly a news app. It’s actually a moms-only social networking app that was once coined as “Tinder for moms.” This nifty app that connects like-minded mommies has a special feature that can filter the news you don’t want to hear about that day. Just tag the term you don’t want and it will disappear from your feed. The app which is called “Peanut” (adorable name) seeks to connect mothers who are feeling a little isolated during the major transitional time of becoming a new mother.

A Happier World

Now, of course, we all know that reality can sometimes be a little hard to swallow, which is why this app is so his app allows you to focus on the things you want to focus on. In a world where information is at your fingertips, sometimes you need to dial into the things that make you feel good or the things that are simply relevant to your world. While we could all use an app like this, it’s especially helpful for new mothers who are trying to foster new and positive communities.

The Birth of the App

Since there’s no mother’s manual, it’s hard navigating this new world, which is why this app is so useful. With Peanut, expectant or new moms can connect and support each other through this sometimes very trying experience. Like their logline says “Whether it’s understanding IVF, adoption, pregnancy, first years or nursery and beyond, Peanut is a place to connect with women like you.”
