Starbucks Just Launched a New Espresso Drink for Spring

Spring isn’t quite here yet, but Starbucks wants to help you get excited for the warmer weather with a brand new drink for spring. It doesn’t hurt that it’ll help you get over the dreaded spring forward of Daylight Savings Time.

To kick off spring, Starbucks launched the Iced Toasted Vanilla Oatmilk Shaken Espresso, and it’s the perfect way to jolt you into the season.

The drink adds to the brand’s existing lineup of shaken espresso and is made with the brand’s blonde espresso and flavored with notes of caramelized vanilla. It’s shaken together with oat milk, combined with ice, and served. You can get it now at Starbucks locations nationwide or via delivery. Plus, if you end up loving the drink, it’s actually not seasonal. This new flavor is sticking around all year long.

The shaken espresso isn’t the only upcoming spring launch for the brand, though. Starbucks will also launch its annual Anniversary Blend whole bean coffee as well as a new option dubbed the Odyssey blend. The Anniversary launch features a smoky cedar flavor with notes of allspice, herbs, and black truffle while Odyssey is a zesty option with flavors of tangerine, marzipan, chocolate, and honey. They’ll launch at Starbucks stores on April 19.

If you want to learn more about all of the spring launches, you can find all of the Starbucks launches on the brand’s website. For those trying to cut back on their coffee runs, though, you can always make an at-home shake espresso.
